6 Jul 2016 - FindaGrave member Mary Frankenstein Johnson (#47865859) says that the birth records show Mary Brandenburg Begley was born on 26 Feb 1874, and the death certificate shows she died on 26 Mar 1958.

(LEXINGTON, KY) - Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Begley, 84, wife of Wilson Begley, died at 1:45 a.m. yesterday (March 20, 1958) at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Emma Purcell, 433 Chair, after an illness of two weeks.

Mrs. Begley lived in Beattyville before moving to Lexington 10 weeks ago. Born in Owsley County, she was the daughter of the late Jackson and Martha Callahan Brandenburg. She attended Owsley County schools, and was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors besides her husband and daughter include another daughter, Mrs. Elzie Lynam, Brooksville, MS, and several brothers, sisters and grandchildren.

The body was removed to the W. R. Milward Mortuary, Broadway, and will be taken today to the Newman Funeral Home in Beattyville.
