Funeral services were held for Mrs.Mabel M.Riedl in her late home on Burr street Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. Ivol Curtis officiating Burial was in Evergreen cemetery. Amos Phipps sang the hymns," The Old Rugged Cross," and "Sometime You'll Understand ."Mrs. Riedl was born in Chittenango in 1877,a daughter of Mr.and Mrs.George Case. After her marriage to John Riedl she moved to Cazenovia where she had resided for over forty years.Mrs. Riedl had been in poor health for sometime and for the last
three months had been ill in Syracuse at the home of her daughter , Mrs. Donald Phillips where she passed away last Wednesday night, May 29. Surviving are her five daughters,
Mrs. Lloyd Eno, Mrs . Phillips , Mrs. Karl Herb,all of Syracuse , Mrs. Robert Daggett and Mrs Robert Hallman of Cazenovia; three sons. Albert.George and Robert Riedl of Cazenovia, one brother . Winifred Case of Chittenango ,and fifteen grandchildren.
