Funeral services for Mary Dalton will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday at the Richardson Chapel in Wayne City, with Rev. Jesse Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Arrington Prairie cemetery north of Sims.
The body will lie in state at the Richardson Chapel in Wayne City, where friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Today.
Miss Dalton, 84, of Route 4, Mount Vernon, died at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the home of her nephew, Kenneth Johnson, Route 7, Mt. Vernon. She was a former resident of Wayne City.
Miss Dalton was born November 29, 1881, in Wayne County, the daughter of David and Phoebe (Anderson) Dalton.
She is survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters.
Miss Dalton was a member of the Star General Baptist churhc of Wayne City.
