Sons and daughters-in-law: Walter "Mike" & Florence Doyle, Lester J. Doyle and Alvin "Al" & Geraldine Doyle, all of Vancouver. Stepson, Gordon Irish, Kalispel, MT. Daughters and sons-in-law, Dorothy Anderson, Stevensville, MT and Eileen & James Guenther, Murrieta, CA. Stepdaughters; Evie Amundson and Arlene Schuck, both of Washougal, WA. Seventeen grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Bernice Jehnsen, Yacolt, WA. Sister-in-law, Dorothy Jehnsen, Battle Ground, WA.
Effie had worked at Vancouver Memorial Hospital. After her retirement she volunteered many hours with the Dorcas Society at Vancouver Seventh-day Adventist Church making quilts. She was a long-time member of Vancouver Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Friends are invited to attend the funeral Wednesday, Feb 7, 1:00 pm at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel, 1101 NE 112th Ave. Pastor Ed Gienger of Vancouver Seventh-day Adventist Church will officiate. Vault interment will be at Park Hill Cemetery, Vancouver.
Friends are invited to meet with the family in the chapel's Hospitality Room following the service.
