Phil served in the U.S. Marines, honorably discharged in 1946. They lived in Wichita, KS for 20 years surrounded by family. He worked at Boeing Airplane Co., during which time he attended and graduated from Wichita Univ. with a B.S. Degree. Phil & Virginia moved to Littleton, CO, where he worked for Martin Marietta for 6 years. Karen was married in 1961 and Phil's grandson, Phillip, was born in 1962.
In 1966, Phil and Ginny moved into the Cardiff Affair, in Campbell, CA. Phil worked as a Design Engineer Specialist for Lockheed Missiles and Space Company. Karen and Phillip joined them in 1967 and a year later Karen married Larry Doyle. In 1969, granddaughter Katherine Lee Doyle was born.
Virginia passed March 17, 1987 in Campbell, CA. Phillip married Patricia Vinassa on November 26, 1989. Patricia passed on Nov. 23, 2003.
Phil is survived by daughter Karen Doyle and her husband Larry Doyle, grandson Phillip Doyle and wife Heather, granddaughter Katherine Lane and husband Dorsey Lane, great-grandsons Connor and Logan Lane and many family and loved ones.
Services were held at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Saratoga, CA. Interment at Oak Hill Memorial Park, San Jose, CA.
