June Molitor, 63, of rural Highmore, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2001, at her home after a long battle with cancer.
Services were held Friday, Oct. 5 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Highmore, with Father John Short and Deacon Don Marks officiating. Burial was at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Highmore.
June Marie Howard was born June 1, 1938, in Helena, Mont., to John and Mary (Dolan) Howard, the third of five children.
She attended St. Mary's School for eight years, then graduated from Helena Senior High.
She was working at the USF&G Insurance Company when she met her future husband. She and Eugene Lawrence Molitor were married January 18, 1958, at St. Mary's Church. They moved to South Dakota in 1963. June attended and was a member at St. Mary's Parish in Highmore.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene Lawrence, of rural Highmore; children, Vikki Marie Molitor (Lance) Beebe, Lawrence "Larry" Patrick (Lisa) Molitor, and Cheryl Irene Molitor (John)Overgaard, all of Watertown; eight grandchildren; one sister, JoAnn Howard Marks of Townsend, Montana; three brothers, Jack Howard and Jeff Howard, both of Helena, Montana, and Jimmy Howard of Dillon, Montana.
She was preceded in death by her parents and numerous aunts and uncles.
