Arnold Dale Sweet

Shelbyville - Arnold Dale "Pushy" Sweet, 53, of Shelbyville died Friday Evening at Community Hospital in Indianapolis after a sudden illness.
He worked for Commomwealth Insurance for the last 15 years. He was an Air Force veteran of Korea and a member of the Shelbyville Eagles Lodge and the American Legion. He lived most of his life in Shelbyville except for three or four years in Columbus.
Service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Carmondy-Ewing Harrison Street Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Horner officiating. Calling will be from 2 to 6p.m. today. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Leader Dogs for the Blind, 1039 S. Michigan Road, Rochester, Mich. 48063.
He was born in Shelbyville Sept. 29,1936, to James B. and Cecile Ewick Sweet. He was married Kathryn M. Ross on Feb. 5,1960, in Shelbyville. She survives.
Also surviving is a son, David "Skip" Sweet of Shelbyville;
Bonni Shrout of Terre Haute and Janet Henderson of Fairland; brothers, Jim, Jack,Don,Bob, and Ray Glen; sisters, Ruth Tucker and Justine Aulby; and 4 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, one sister and one grandson.
