(February 18, 1940 - December 30, 2011)

Frank C. Sentz, Jr., 71, of Wernersville, passed away Friday, December 30, 2011 at home. He was the husband and soul mate of Ann Y. (Messersmith) Sentz with whom he shared 46 years of marriage.

Born in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Frank C. and Elizabeth (Hain) Sentz, Sr.

He graduated from Wilson High School in 1958, Albright College in 1962, and received a Master's Degree in Public Health from the University of Michigan in 1970. His working career was with the Commonwealth of PA as an industrial hygienist and, subsequently, as a surface mine conservation inspector supervisor.

Frank enjoyed family activities, traveling, and hunting. He and Ann used their cabin located in Sullivan County as a "get away" second residence. Over the years they traveled to 48 of the 50 states.

Frank was a Masonic Member of the Reading Lodge No. 549 and the Lebanon Valley Sportsmen's Association.

In addition to his wife, Ann, he is survived by a daughter, Elaine, wife of Mark Jackson, Spring Twp.; a brother Carl Sentz, Lower Heidelberg Twp.; and a son-in-law, Mark Bankemper, Shillington. A daughter, Susan Sentz, predeceased him. He enjoyed his grandchildren, William and Cooper Jackson, and Wyatt Bankemper.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00AM, Friday, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Robesonia, with the Rev. William Weiser officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 10-11:00AM at the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, Berks County Chapter, 701 Centre Ave., Reading, PA 19601.
