Belle C. Thomas, 95, of Springville, died Friday, March 11, 1988 at her home of causes incident to age.
She was born May 23, 1892 in Hobble Creek Canyon, to Alpheus Gardner and Christabel Johnson Curtis. She married LaVere Metcalf Crandall December 1911 in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He died in 1920. She married Hyrum Clarke Thomas August 10, 1931. They were later divorced.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter: Mark Curtis Crandall, Signal Mountain, Tenn.; Morgan M. Thomas and Mina Murray, both Springville; 12 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three children: Darrel Crandall, Kathleen Crandall, and Darley Crandall Overlee.∼Married Dec. 20 1912
