FUNERAL FOR MRS. SHORTT

Services over the remains of Mrs. B. F. Shortt who died in Glenwood a few days ago, were held yesterday afternoon at the home of Mrs. M. B. Brown, on Monarch street, Rev. Wm. C. Millikan officiating. The Methodist choir sang several beautiful hymns, after which a large concourse of friends and neighbors, under the direction of Undertaker De Marais followed the body on its last sad journey to its resting place in Red Butte cemetery.

Among those who came from Glenwood to attend the funeral were the three daughters, Mrs. M. M. French, Mrs. James S. Williamson, Miss Dora Shortt, and also Mrs. C. F. Jeffers, and Thomas French.

The Times regrets the stormy day which prevented many attending the services and voices the sympathy of the community for the bereaved.
