MRS. MAHALA JANE ELDRIDGE DIES AT AGE OF 88 YEARS
Had been a Resident of Richland Township for More Than Half a Century
Mahala Jane Eldridge, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Will Olinger, six miles northwest of Garrett, Sunday morning at 11 o'clock.
Mrs. Eldridge would have been eighty-eight years old had she lived until April 20. She had been a resident of Richland Township for over fifty years, coming here from Fremont, O. Thomas Eldridge, her husband, died twelve years ago from injuries received when he was kicked by a horse.
Mrs. Eldridge had been a sufferer from heart trouble for a number of years, that disease and other complications causing her death. She leaves one son, Perry Eldridge, and a daughter, Mrs. Will Olinger. The son and daughter both reside on farms in Richland township formerly owned by their parents.
The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Union Church and burial will be made in the Union Cemetery. The Rev. Thomas of the Corunna Christian church, of which Mrs. Eldridge was a member will officiate.
