Rosalyn is the daughter of John Estes Falgout and Millie Thelma Holmes Doyle Hudson Falgout. She was raised with 5 half siblings to my knowledge. I feel her obituary describes Rosalyn better than I can as I do not remember her. She was quite a few years older than I am and my only visit to their family home was after she was married and had moved away. However, I remember her mother who was a kind and loving lady and I adored her. She was very close to my grandmother and they kept in touch for all their adult lives.

OBITUARY - Courtesy of Harris Funeral Homes, Inc. in Russellville, Pope Co., Arkansas:

Roselyn Richardson was freed from her earthly body Thursday, September 13, 2007.
Roselyn was born May 8, 1924 in Houston, Texas, to Millie Holmes and John Falgout. She married George Kilburn Richardson on July 6, 1942. Together, they raised a family of six children. Roselyn retired after 30 years of service to the Social Security Administration. She was an active member of the Pope County Republican Women, as well as the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. She was a long-time member of the West Side Church of Christ.
Roselyn will long be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, her generosity, and her passion for learning. She was a great cook and a talented seamstress. Wherever she went and to whomever she met, she spread her kindness and love for life. In her later years, she developed a passion for Cocker Spaniels, and would seldom be seen without one or more Cockers by her side.
Roselyn has been reunited with her husband, George; her parents; a sister, Catherine Dickey; and her first-born son, George K. Richardson, Jr. Left behind to cherish her memory are five children: Charlotte (Richardson) Sudhop and husband Charles of Bellaire, Texas; Gary Richardson and wife Debby of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Terry Richardson and wife Judy of Lubbock, Texas; Robyn Richardson and companion Norma Jean McKenzie of Russellville; and Nancy (Richardson) Loper of Russellville. Roselyn is also survived by four siblings: sister Maureen Bottoms of Silsbee, Texas; brother Harry Doyle of Port Acres, Texas; brother, Richard Hudson of Orange, Texas; and brother, Charles Hudson of Spurger, Texas. Also carrying on Roselyn's legacy are her six grandchildren: George K. Richardson III and wife Nataliya of Las Vegas, Nevada; Phillip Richardson and wife Gretchen of Lubbock; Amy (Brown) Curry and husband Ted of Houston; Scott Richardson and wife Katie of West Orange, New Jersey; Jason Richardson and wife Angela of Prosper, Texas; and Lorie Richardson of South Hero, Vermont. Additionally, Roselyn leaves behind twelve great-grandchildren and Nancy's beloved Cocker Spaniel, Nikki.
Roselyn's family invites her friends and loved ones to celebrate her memory Saturday, September 15, 6:00 p.m. at West Side Church of Christ.

Rest peacefully Rosalyn and know your family remembers...
