THE PARIS NEWS Thu., Mar. 3, 1983. 'James Kendall Hines, 404-12th SE, died in Schumbert Medical Center in Shreveport, LA, about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 2. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 4, in Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Yarbrough and the Rev. David Bowman officiating and burial in Meadowbrook Cemetery. Mr. Hines was born July 30, 1941, in Paris, a son of Aubrey Hines and Cordelia Mathews Hines (Tilson). He attended Powderly schools and Paris Junior College. For the past two years he was associated with Rogers Exploration Co. serving as a crew chief. On Aug. 12, 1967, he married Miss Mattie Bowman. Surviving are his wife; one son, James Kipley Hines of Dallas; one stepdaughter, Donna Denette Sanders of Paris; his mother, Mrs. Cordelia Tilson of Powderly; one brother, Denny Hines of Powderly; and a grandmother, Mrs. Mona Hines of Paris.'
