Edward Lennox
Edward F. Lennox, a life long resident of Yonkers, died unexpectedly at his home on Monday. He was 55.
Born Jan. 14 1919 in Yonkers to Lawrence and Anna Lennox, he was educated in local schools and was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church here.
A veteran of World War II, Lennox served with the U.S. Army in the South Pacific.
He worked for various contractors here as a wood, wire and metal lather and was a member of the Lather's Local 226 AF of L.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Anna Lennox of Baltimore, Md.; his wife, the former Elizabeth Abdo; two sons, Robert and Donald, all of Yonkers, and seven grandchildren. His father predeceased him.
