J.W. Adams Rites
Held At Gilgal
Funeral services for J.W. Adams, 92, who died at his home near Minden at 5 p.m. Sunday, were held at the Gilgal Baptist church at 3 p.m. Monday with the pastor, Rev. D.T. Brown, officiating. Burial was under the direction of Green-Kleinegger funeral home at the Gilgal cemetery.
Survivors are two sons, A.D. Adams and S.E. Adams; four daughters, Mrs. C.A. Miller, Mrs. W.E. Hough, Mrs. T.D. Gipson and Mrs. J.S. Lary, all of Minden; 21 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
Mr. Adams was a native of Webster parish and had lived here all of his life. Death come in the same house in which he was born.
