George William Hauesler was the son of the late Charles William and Bessie Mae Hauesler. He was a farmer and an active member of Bay Spring Baptist Church. Mr. Hauesler was a veteran of the United States Army and served during World War II.
He is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Ann and Norman Welch and Jenny and Dennis Webb; an adopted daughter, Vickie Royal; a brother and his wife, Hewlett and Thelma Hauesler; four grandchildren, Amanda Webb, Victoria Webb and her husband, Lamar, Andy Welch and his wife, Sharon and Charlie Welch and his wife, Christina; four great-grandchildren, Dixie Webb, Mason Welch, Will Welch and C.H. Welch; a sister-in-law, Lola Belle Hauesler of Arabi; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Syrelle "Dot" Helms Hauesler and two sisters, Doris H. West and Vernell Sims.
