"Deansboro---George H. Kimball, 61, a resident of this community for the past five years, died yesterday in a Rome hospital. He was born in Vernon and was a carpenter. He married Angie Drake in 1922. Besides his wife he leaves eight daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Wilson, Randallsville; Mrs. Ruth Davy, Franklin Springs; Mrs. Florence Williamson, Vernon Center; Mrs. Elizabeth Hall, Oriskany Falls; Mrs. Joyce Rood, Clinton; Mrs. Jean Hutchings, North Brookfield; Mrs. Grace Rood, Kirkland; Mrs. Shirley Brady, Oriskany Falls; three sons, James and Richard of Waterville, and Donald, Deansboro, and three brothers and two sisters. The funeral will be at 2, Monday from the Smith Funeral Home in Madison. Calling hours are from 7 to 9 tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tomorrow." [Daily Press (Utica, NY), Saturday, Oct. 12, 1962]
