Worked on and helped build the Hannibal and "St. Joe" railroads, in the USA.

Died aged 72.

Married nearly 45 years at time of death.

Children surviving were: Mrs. Nellie Ahern, Mrs. Joseph Langan, Miss Mary and Miss Katherine Connell; Michel Jr., Thomas who was a policeman and Jack, who was a baseball umpire. Four grandchildren and a brother John also survived.
