Glenn C. Flock, resident of Route 1, died Thursday, December 23, in St. Mary's Hospital in St. Louis where he had gone for surgery.
Born November 10, 1907 in Hays, Kans., he had resided in this county since 1949 and was foreman of Doniphan Special Road District. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and of the Odd Fellow's Lodge. In November 1941, he was married to Ida J. Clark in Columbus, Nebr., who survives him.
Others surviving are: two sons, Gordon and Merlin, both of Chicago, Ill.; his mother, Mrs. Lottie Flock of Spokane, Wash.; four brothers, Andrew Flock, Lincoln, Nebr., Lester of Omaha, Nebr., Lawrence of Belle Glade, Fla., and Gerald of Spokane, Wash.; five sisters, Mary Dussel of Ione, Wash., Mary Sanford of Omaha, Nebr., Ester Bussard of Spokane, Wash., Erma Webb of Post Fall, Ida., and Charlotte Miller of Metaline Falls, Wash.; and three grandchildren, Barbara, Robin and Glenda Flock of the home.
The Rev. Leslie Elam officiated at services held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the First Baptist Church. Interment was in the Amity Cemetery under the direction of McNabb-Cravens Funeral Home of Doniphan.
