Clara Morris married Howard Stanley Adams on February 8, 1932.
Odessa was paralyzed as a young lady from a car accident; however, she became the mother of six children.
Odessa Morris Adams died at the age of 40 years when her youngest daughter, Susie, was only two years old. Odessa also died the same year as her mother, Laura Robinson Morris.

ADAMS RITES SET AT ROCK CROSSING
Mrs. Odessa Adams, 40, a resident of Rock Crossing, died Sunday night in a local hospital.
She was born March 10, 1912, in Montague County.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in the Rock Crossing Baptist Church, with Rev. Young Reed officiating. Burial will be in Mountain Air, N. M., under the direction of the Henderson Funeral Home of Vernon.
Pall bearers will be Lawton Holder, L. D. Hammonds, Obie Smith, Scott McIlroy, P. D. Huff and Ernest Blackman.
Surviving Mrs. Adams are the husband, Howard Adams; four daughters, Yvonne, Laverne, Billie Mae and Susan of Rock Crossing; a son, Stanley, of Rock Crossing; the father, Jim Morris of New Mexico; five brothers, Theron Morris of Hobbs, N. M., J. R. Morris of Bakersfield, Calif., Truman Morris of Pedernal, N. M., Clyde Morris of Las Lomas, N. M., and Floyd Morris of Saint Jo; and three sisters, Mrs. Irene Harkey of Bakersfield, Mrs. Beth Webb of Las Lomas, and Gertrude Irving of Olton.
