Josephine R. Wilken, 95, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2011 at 11:45 p.m. at the West Point Care Center in West Point, IA. She was born on June 12, 1916 in Fort Madison, IA to George & Anna Dohman Luegering. She married Ralph O. Wilken on June 20, 1940 in Fort Madison, IA. He preceded her in death on March 8, 1992. She was a homemaker and a member of Ss. Mary & Joseph Church, Old Settlers Association and a variety of card clubs.
Josephine is survived by: 3-sons: Bill (Betty) Wilken of Sun City, AZ, John (Sheryl) Wilken of Marco Island, FL & Tom (Connie) Wilken of Niota, IL; 7-grandchildren & 10-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents, husband, 3-sisters & 1-brother.
Her body has been cremated by King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory and a memorial mass will be held at a later date at Ss. Mary & Joseph Church. Burial will be held at Soldiers' Circle in Oakland Cemetery.
