Alma E. Lofty, 90, of Washington, W.Va., passed away Jan. 16, 2003, at the Worthington Manor Nursing Facility.
She was born May 5, 1912, in Jackson County, a daughter of the late John and Bertha Jackson Crawford. She was retired from the American Viscose Company.
Surviving are four brothers and sisters, Jessie Stiff of Denton, Texas, Ira Crawford of Springfield, Mo., Burl Crawford of East Greenville, Ohio, and Mickey Krieger of Grove City, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Glen Taylor; her second husband, John Lofty; two brothers, Lawrence and John Crawford; and one sister, Juanita Ellison.
Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Green Street, Parkersburg. Interment will follow at the Evergreen South Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
