Adra Leila Bailey was born January 6, 1924 in Lincoln township, Ringgold county, Iowa. Adra was the youngest of two daughters born to Reva (Bender) Morey and Harry Morey. Adra married Richard R. Bailey at the farm on March 6, 1953. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dick, in 1995; sister, Phyllis Goodale; parents, Harry and Reva Morey; stepmother, Hazel Morey; brothers-in-law, Wado Bush, Alan Rood, Phil Cooper, Paul Whitmore, Don Herring, Zeke Bailey and Chuck Goodale; sisters-in-law, Jane Whitmore, Lorraine Rood, Bernadine Cooper, Jean Bailey and Margaret Bush, and a special great-nephew, Mike Goodale.
