Her husband, James Abramson preceded her in death on May 13, 1990.
Survivors are: children and their spouses, Ginger and Jim Bresley of Berwyn, Jerry and Deb Abramson of Aurora, Tim and Peggy Abramson of Racine, Wis., and Robert and Deb Abramson of Kasson, Minn.; a brother, Harvey Ransdell of Wilcox; and sisters, Cora Mae of Phoenix and Mary Jane Holm of Holdrege; grandchildren, David Bresley, Jessica Abramson, Brianna Abramson, Megan Abramson and Tara Abramson; and great-grandchildren, Calvin and Taidum Bresley.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Jamee Bresley; brothers, Clinton Ransdell and George Ransdell; and a sisters, Grace Schuman and Vivian Heidemann.
Alice was raised on a family farm south of Ragan. She graduated from Ragan High School, class of 1945. She received her teaching certificate through the University of Nebraska Kearney; then taught school for six years.
Alice was united in marriage to James B. Abramson on Nov. 16, 1945, in Holdrege. They lived in Holdrege for 23 years then made Grand Island their home. Alice worked for several nursing homes as a nursing assistant.
Alice was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Grand Island. Alice's first priority was her family and her grandchildren were always on the top of her list. Her enjoyments included spending time with her family and she had a great love for music.
Graveside services were at the Freewater Cemetery, Wilcox, NE.
