Bradford Phillip Baum, 83, passed away on December 24, 2011 surrounded by his family and dear friend in West Jordan, Utah.

Born May 16, 1928 in Heber City, Utah to Thomas Jefferson and Irene Streeter Baum. Married Marie Frandsen on August 12, 1950 in American Fork, Utah.

He joined the U.S. Marine Corp during World War II. He was a certified welder, painter and body and fender repairman. He worked for the Army for forty-one years at Dugway Proving Ground and Tooele Army Depot. In 1991, he went to Saudi Arabia, during Deseret Storm, where he spent six months.

Served in the Cub Scout organization for ten years, first as a committee member and then as a Cub Master. Brad has had many cats over the years including one he brought back from Saudi Arabia. He loved them dearly and looked forward to being reunited with them.

Survived by daughter, Carol (Bruce) McDonald, West Valley City; sons, Phillip (Donna), Murray; Darol (Raelynn), Bluffdale; and Lynn (Marcia) West Valley City; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Tommy; and son, Ted Cameron.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road (1700 West), where a viewing will be held on Friday from 10:00-11:45 a.m.
Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
