She was married Oct.24 1924 to Ernest Humphrey on the vaudeville stage of the old Strand Theater in Alma ..He predeceased her on Jan 12, 1971
Mrs Humphrey resided in the Elwell area most of her life and moved to Alma in 1972..She was active in the Elwell United Methodist Church .teaching Sunday school and serving as officer of several church organizations..
A member of WSCS she also partiicipated in the Elwell Book Club and had worked for several years as a cook for the Wilcox Hospital..In her leisure time ,she was an avid cookie baker...
Surviving are her sons Wally and Louise of St Louis
