Tressler Funeral at Bluff Creek Thursday

Bargersville, August 26 – Funeral services were held at the Bluff Creek Christian Church, Thursday morning at 10 o'clock for Oliver H Tressler, age 72, a prominent citizen of White River Township and well known resident of the county. He died in his home in the Bluff Creek neighborhood Tuesday morning. Services were in charge of Reverend Connor, who assisted by Reverend Oldham and were attended by friends from all parts of the county. Burial was in cemetery at Bluff Creek.

Members of the board of elders of Bluff Creek Church of which Mr. Tresser was a former member service casket bearers and flowers were carried by 14 of Mr. Tresslars nieces and nephews and young friends. Music was given by Bluff Creek Church quartet. Mr. Tresser have been a resident of the county for most of his life and except for brief periods had engaged in farming in White River Township. Surviving are one daughter, four brothers and one sister.
