John W. Reynolds, 78, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away on Friday, Dec. 23, 2011 at Georgetown, Ohio Veterans Home. He was born in Logan, Ohio, on March 27, 1933.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Lucille (Fee) Reynolds and one brother.

He is survived by his wife, Mona (Phillips) Reynolds; son, John Eric Reynolds of Austin, Texas; four brothers, David Reynolds of Columbus, Ohio, Gene Reynolds of Nevada, Tommy Reynolds of Georgia, and Edwin Reynolds of McArthur, Ohio; three sisters, Ethel Short of Allensville, Ohio, Vera Tedrick of Worthington, Ohio, and Evelyn Steinberg of Gibson City, Illinois, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Weds., Dec. 28, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Jerry Mullins officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Ridgewood Cemetery.
