Ruth Isaacs Estes, 94, passed away on Monday evening, December 19, 2011 at the Irvine Health & Rehab Center. She was the widow of R.T. "Joe" Estes. Mrs. Isaacs was born on July 14, 1917, in Estill County, and was the daughter of Leonard and Eulah Jackson Isaacs, both of whom preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of St. Petersburg, Florida.
Survivors include one sister, Barbara C. Isaacs, of St. Petersburg, Florida; one niece, Agnes Dixon of Irvine; two nephews, Jesse Isaacs of Irvine and Gary Shifflett of Washington, DC; 3 great nieces, two great nephews, one great-great niece and two great-great nephews.
