THE PAWNEE PRESS (Pawnee City, Nebraska)- Friday, September 21, 1900- Page 1.

OBITUARY.
Mary A. Woods-Stebbins was born January 14, 1832, in Providence, Rhode Island, and died in this city Tuesday night, September 18, 1900.

Deceased removed with her parents to western New York when four years of age, where she remained until married to L. A. Stebbins on February 7, 1854. In January, 1861, in company with her husband, she removed to this county and state, which had since been her home. Mrs. Stebbins was the mother of two children. The daughter died in 1863. The son S. H. Stebbins, together with the husband, survive the mother and wife.

Funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon at the family home, when a large concourse of people gathered to pay their last sad respects to the memory of a departed friend and most esteemable citizen. Rev. R. J. McCready, pastor of the First United Presbyterian church, being an intimate friend of the family, officiated. After these services the remains were conveyed to the Pawnee City cemetery and deposited in the family lot.

The husband and so and other relatives and immediate friends have the sincere and universal sympathy of the entire community in the hour of their sadness and great bereavement.
