Sarah "Sally" Frances Woodard was a dau of Jesse B Woodard and Elizabeth Sherrod. Her 1st husband was Clements Bridgers who died Northampton Co., NC Dec 1865 (according to Estate Papers filed in Raleigh, NC); 2nd husband Andrew E Peele.

Sarah and Clements were the parents of only one known child, Franklin Windfield Bridgers.

Sarah married Andrew E Peele Dec 18, 1866 and they had no known children.

Headstone fallen over and broken in several pieces when cemetery cleaned and recorded March 1999. Pieces were placed together and left lying flat on ground.

Graves moved to another location on this farm. Prior to 1999, headstone broken from base and lying on ground. After moving grave, headstone was repaired and is now standing on its base.

On the lower right side of the base is engraved: Ogg Portsmouth, VA. Ogg was the company where Sarah Frances' headstone was purchased when she died in 1908. 2016 - Ogg Stone Works is still in business in Portsmouth!
