Dies In Lockport
SOMERSET, Sept. 6—-The funeral for Howard Baker, 64, who died Thursday night at Niagara County Sanatorium, Lockport, after a long illness, will be held at 2:30 Sunday at the McKee Funeral Home the Rev. Marcum B. May, pastor of Somerset Union Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Hartland Central Cemetery.
Mr. Baker is survived by his wife Louise; daughter Mrs. Alma Sipple; sister Edna A. Baker, Denver; one
granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
Born in Lewis County, Mr. Baker, son of David and Mary Baker, has resided here 35 years and was a member and Worker of Somerset Union Methodist Church where he was Church steward for many years. He was also a member of the Wesley Class, member of Somerset Grange, past Noble Grand of Orient Lodge IOOF Rochester, and former member of the State Encampment.
