BLOOMINGTON -- A. Louise Toohill, 89, of 911 S. Vale St., Bloomington, died at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 25, 2004) at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Bloomington. Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Carmody-Flynn Williamsburg Funeral Home, Bloomington, with the Rev. Deo Gratias R. Mutefunya officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bloomington. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the OSF St. Joseph Medical Center Auxiliary or to the charity of the donor's choice. Louise was born July 21, 1914, at Downs, the daughter of Harry and Anna Tierney Felkamp. She married Edward F. Toohill on Jan. 11, 1947, at Downs. He died May 25, 1992. Survivors include one niece, Ellen Sandage, Ellsworth; and two nephews, Robert (Barby) Borchard, Sycamore; and William (Mary Beth) Borchard, Atlanta, Ga. Two sisters and one brother preceded her in death. Louise worked at Sears for 12 years and was a volunteer for the St. Joseph Hospital Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of Holy Trinity Church in Bloomington and the Altar & Rosary Society of the church.
