Christopher was born to Howard Conway and Theodora
Celia Langlois who were married Oct. 4, 1945 in Bennington. Christopher weighed only 4lbs 2 1/4 ounces at birth. Theodora became ill and died March 2, 1949. She died of chronic glomerulo nephritis and anemia. Christopher was raised by his grandmother, Alice. Christopher was never allowed to see his birth father, Howard again. Much bitterness was held by Christopher against his father because he was told it was Howard who indirectly caused his
mother's death. His obituary states he was the son of Charles and Teddi Conway but Charles is unknown since Theodora (Teddi) never remarried before her death since she was married to Howard Conway at the time of her death.
