Services for Felix L. Kelly will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 17, 2005 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Hessmer with Father Edwin Rodriguez officiating. Entombment will be in St. Alphonsus Mausoleum, Hessmer under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Marksville.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16, 2005 and from 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 17, 2005 at the funeral home. A wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16, 2005 at the funeral home.

Mr. Kelly, age 84, of Hessmer, died at 12 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005 at the Avoyelles Hospital, Marksville.

He was a native and resident of Hessmer, a U.S. Air Force veteran, a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, a member of the American Legion Post in Marksville and was a retired correctional officer from the state of Louisiana.

He is preceded in death by his grandson, Jody Kelly.

Survivors include his wife, Rita Voorhies Kelly of Hessmer; sons, Shelly Kelly, Bobby Kelly, Terry Kelly and Gerard Kelly, all of Hessmer; two brothers, Orney Kelly of Marksville and Alfred Kelly of Lincoln, Neb.; two sisters, Marjorie Schoonover of Hessmer and Ollie Bordelon of Hessmer; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
