Lee Harris Dies in Tucson
Services for Lee Harris, 53, former resident of this area, were conducted Wednesday afternoon in a chapel at Tucson, Arizona, his home.
Interment was in a Tucson cemetery.
Harris died Monday in the Tucson Veterans Hospital after a lengthy illness.
A career airman, Harris serviced 25 years in the air force. He was a sergeant when he retired four years ago. He was a veteran of World War II.
Harris grew up in the Nowata area, attending Nowata schools and graduating from Nowata High School.
Surviving is the widow, Maxine; two children, Gaylene Yeager and Wyndell Harris of Tucson; two grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Y.B. Harris; a sister and two brothers, Wilma Waller of Dewey, James Harris of Bartlesville and Gene Harris.
