Boyd died Thursday at his home. He was born in Horry County, a son of the Mrs.
Agnes Booth Boyd and the late Daniel Olin Boyd. He was a World War II Army
veteran. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Janette Lee Boyd; four sons, Edward B.,
Buddy, Donny and Floyd R. Boyd of Conway; a daughter Joyce Gail Boyd of Conway;
his mother of Conway; two brothers, Henry and Junior Boyd of Conway; three
sisters, Mrs. Dottie Lee, Mrs. J.P. Lee of Conway, and Mrs. Leatha Lee of
Conway; and five grandchildren.
