Mrs. Capps
Funeral services for Mrs. Katy Belle Capps, 87,of Lometa were held Wednesday morning in the Briggs-Hamel-Wilcox Chapel with Melvin D. Williams officiating. Interment followed in Senterfitt Cemetery in Lometa.
Mrs. Capps died Sunday morning in Childress General Hospital in Goldthwaite.
Born Feb 1, 1902,in Milam County, Mrs Capps was a long-time
resident of Lampasas County. She was married to Charles Sterling Capps in San Saba, and she was a member of First Pentecostal Church of Lometa.
Survivors include four daughters; Jean Blodgett, Evelyn Harrison and Allen Ballenger, all of Lometa, and Dee Mings of Parker; a son, Charles S. Capps of Bedford; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Briggs-Gamel-Wilcox Funeral Directors had charge of arrangements.
