Gaylard Ralph Eggleston passed away Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011, unexpectedly at home.

Gaylard was born June 2, 1944, to Ralph and Alice Eggleston (Lehmann) in Hansen, Idaho. Gaylard attended school in Wendell and, in 1968, married Bunny Brown. This union brought about two children, Shannon Eggleston and Barbara (Dean) Chandler, both of Buhl. He has two granddaughters, Monica and Jessica Knott of Buhl. He has two sisters, Sharon (Jr.) Pew and Coral (Bob) Deisher; and also one brother, Rick (Cheryl) Eggleston, all from Buhl. He also had numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved pet "Picker."

Gaylard worked all his life farming and in agriculture until ill health forced his retirement. He loved hunting and fishing and could tell you some big whoppers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Alice Eggleston; one sister, Vivian; and one brother, Jerry Ray Eggleston; along with various aunts and Uncles.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, at Calvary Assembly of God Church in Buhl.
