Gilbert Oren Bidwell of Arlington served his country in the U.S. Navy in World War II. He spent two years in the Pacific on LST-979 and five years in the Navy Reserve. He worked 35 years for Bell Helicopter as an electrical technician, fitting Cobra helicopter wiring harnesses. He will be greatly missed.

Survivors: Wife; two sons; one daughter; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
