Mrs. Crettie Coe, widow of the late Bryant Coe, died in Indianapolis Sunday, July 28. The remains were returned here to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Algie Warriner, and funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at Scotts Chapel Church south of Jamestown, conducted by Rev. J.W. Hubbard. Interment was in the Miller graveyard with Pruitt funeral home in charge of arrangements.
Surviving are a son and four daughters, Arnold Coe of Dawson Springs, Mrs. Eliza Poundee, Mrs. Alta Belle Rexroat, and Mrs. Stella Mae Sutton of Indianapolis and Mrs. Algie Warriner of Jamestown. Also surviving are three brothers, Cortez, Elmer, and Winfield Canada, all of Jamestown.
Mrs. Coe had lived a long and useful Christian life and had won the respect and esteem of all who knew her. The family has the sympathy of all in their loss.
