Funeral for Former Ella Steen Held at Good Springs Monday
Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Fite were held at Good Springs Baptist church at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon, and burial made there. Mrs. Fite was formerly Ella Steen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Steen, born April 9, 1873, near Conway. She died at 2:30 a.m. in the Rolla hospital October 29. She was married Sept. 26, 1894, to Tim Fite and lived in Webster county until nine years ago, when they moved to Newburg. She had been in failing health the past few years. She is survived by her husband, two children, Ivah, of Newburg, and Orville, of Springfield; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Hogan of Niangua, and Mrs. Martha Caffey, of Conway; and two brothers, Jerry and Doc Steen, both of Oklahoma.
