Topton, March 21 (Special) - Sarah Elizabeth, wife of Orlando Eck, passed away at her home on Callowhill street, this borough, following illness of a duration of nearly a year, aged 70 years, 5 months and 10 days. The deceased was the daughter of the late Solomon A. and Catharine (DeLong) Ahn. Remaining besides the husband are the following: Sons, Alfred and Morris, Allentown; daughters, Alice, wife of John Boyer, and Elmira, wife of George W. Keiser, this place; brothers Jacob and Edwin, Allentown; John, Circleville, O.; 14 grandchildren, one great-grandchild. Funeral next Thursday from her late residence in town at 9:30 a.m. Further services and internment at the Longswamp Church. Rev. W. F. Bond, of Shamrock, will officiate, and Director J.J. Schofer, of town, has charge.
Note: Sarah's mother was Hettie DeLong, not Catherine and her son was Albert, not Alfred.
