Roger was a graduate of Strider Academy in Tallahatchie County, and was a member of the Phillip Baptist Church. He was well loved by many in his community. He was a self-taught plumber and achieved his life-long dream when he did his solo flight at Olive Branch Airport and earned his private pilot's license. Roger was preceded in death by his father, Robert Paul Bruckner, his mother, Ruth Bruckner and his brother Dean Bruckner.
Graveside services were held at 3:00Pm Sunday July 3, 2011 in the Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery. A memorial Service will be held at a later date at the Senatobia Baptist Church in Senatobia MS.
