Mr. David William Dixon, age 64 died suddenly Tuesday evening 12/20/2011.
He was born in Waycross on August 20, 1947. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie William Dixon and Cathryn Kimbrell Dixon.
He is survived by two sons Davie Boatright of Waycross and Tracy (Jody) Dixon of Daytona Beach, Fl, 3 Step-children Michael Strickland of Blackshear, Michele (J.R.) Westberry of Blackshear, Anthony (Cherrill) Cameron of Jacksonville, Fl. 4 Brothers Larry (Linda) Dixon of Callahan, Fl. Mike (Dedd) Dixon of McMinnville, Tn. Bobby Dixon of Brantley Co. and Rocky (Sherry) Dixon of Hortense. 2 Sisters Susan Dixon of Callahan and Cathy (Donald) Lewis of Nahunta.
A funeral service will be held on 11AM Friday in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home.
