BETHEL SPRINGS - Clarence O. Howell, 80, retired farmer, died Thurday at McNairy County General Hospital in Selmer after a long illness.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Shackelford Funeral Home in Selmer with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery there. He was a member of Curtis Hill Church of God of Prophecy near here. Howell, the husband of Verble Tull Howell, also leaves a son, Dennie Howell of Selmer; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
