Mr. Brown lived most of his life in the south part of Pemiscot County, farming for many years in the Tyler neighborhood and later living in the Cottonwood Point community.
He leaves two sons, James Brown of Riverside, Calif. and Washington Brown of Cypress Gardens, Fla.; four daughters, Mrs. Eva Burks of Malden, Mrs. Myrtle Burks of Kennett, Mrs. Opal Horn of Bowling Green, Fla. and Mrs. Dorothy Palmer of Mishawaka, Ind.; 50 grandchildren and 70 great-grandchildren.
