Mrs. Blacker was a native of Piatt County and at the time of her death was a few months over 55 years of age. Mr. and Mrs. Blacker had been married 39 years. Mr. Blacker, two daughters and one son survived. The daughters were Mrs. Curtis Fisher and Miss Bessie Blacker. The son was Earl Blacker. Funeral services were held from the residence, Rev. N. H. Robertson, officiating.
