Raymond Edward Harryman, 94, passed up to Heaven on December 18, 2011 to be with his Lord Jesus Christ.

Raymond was born on July 6, 1917 in Warsaw, Missouri, son of James Edward and Emma Susan (Hubbs) Harryman; the fifth of ten children. In 1934 he married the love of his life, Rosalie Smith of Coffeyville, Kansas. He worked in the oil fields of Kansas for a short time and he worked with the W.P.A.

He then joined the Navy and was honorably discharged. Then he farmed in the forties until he was converted under his brother's ministry and served the Lord for over fifty years. He pastored churches in Missouri, Kansas, Oregon and Idaho.

In Oregon they were blessed by God who gave them three children whom they greatly loved; Reena of Michigan, John of Florida and Daniel of Texas.

After Rosalie's passing, he married Ella Hopkins, then Reva Allen; all who preceded him in death. Raymond loved fishing, hunting, playing the fiddle with his family, his father and brothers.

Raymond is survived by his two sisters; Helen (Paul) Taylor of Weiser and Jean (Vern) Whitson of Kansas; his children; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Raymond truly loved life and people, but most of all he loved his Savior, Jesus Christ. He truly fought a good fight.

Services will be held Friday, December 23, 2011 at 1:00PM at the Cornerstone Assembly of God Church, with interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cornerstone Assembly of God Church or a favorite charity in Raymond's memory.
