OTTUMWA - Lucille L. Beasley, 82, of 427 N. Van Buren St., died at 3:11 pm December 16, 2011 at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.

She was born January 12, 1929 in Wayne County to Frederick "Bert" and Effie Brewer Haff. She married Howard Granneman. He preceded her in death. She married Ronald L. Beasley on August 12, 1978. She was a nurse's aide at St. Joseph Hospital and also worked with in Home Care.

She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church where she sang in the choir. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society, Catholic Daughters of Americas, and
Drifters Car Club.

Surviving are her husband, Ronald; daughter, Gail Granneman of Ottumwa; two grandchildren, Scot Denniston and Deanna Kurtz; two great-grandchildren, Ceaira Yeoman and Dustin Yeoman and a great-great granddaughter Bella Bonar.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Fisher and Norma Jean Muldoon.

Funeral mass will be 10 am Tuesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father Patrick Hilgendorf officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cenetery. Visitation will begin after 10 am Monday at the Reece Funeral Home with the family present from 6-8 pm Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
